We are commemorating the 56th Year Anniversary of Ueshiro Shorin-Ryu Karate USA with the launch of our esteemed Kata Guide mobile app.

What stands out about this demonstration is the time spent training under the tutelage of Grand Master Ansei Ueshiro. This app is dedicated to his memory by Hanshi Scaglione.

The complete 90-minute Kata Guide has been enhanced for seamless viewing on your mobile device. Easily zoom in by pinching and reposition by holding your finger (similar to manipulating iPhone photos). To access additional features like Slow Motion and Super Slow Motion, simply click on the icon located at the lower right corner.

This instructional content showcases Hanshi Robert Scaglione illustrating kata in the traditional Okinawan style of Matsubayashi Shorin-Ryu. It encompasses the three fundamental kata, five intermediate kata, three advanced kata, eight black belt kata, weapons kata for sai, bo, kama, and nunchaku, along with the four prearranged kumite. Originally helmed by Directed and Produced by Kyoshi David Seeger, the Kata Guide has been reworked for mobile playback and formatted into this app.
